Goudargues and surroundings

Goudargues or the "Venise Gardoise" (due to the abundant springs running through the village) is a small village located 29 km from Uzès in the heart of the Cèze Valley. Its proximity to the river Cèze a few meters away offers magnificent natural beaches. A village that gives an atmosphere of the most authentic and natural.

A few canals have managed to slip into the heart of the village, the alleys are covered with plane trees which make the place unique and allows you to take some beautiful pictures.

The inhabitants of Goudargues are always amazed by the beauty of their little village. This beautiful nature, the generous shade offered by the large leafy trees, the delicate sound of the watercourse, the softness of the fountains on the shaded plots offers an undeniable charm.

The votive festivals bring a real atmosphere also during the month of August, as do many villages in the Gard. It is a tradition that continues to bring together both large and small.
